The Heart of Judaism in Theory and Practice

Social Justice: The Heart of Judaism in Theory and Practice – Melton 2020

Begins February 24

at APJCC, Los Gatos

Rabbi Hugh Seid-Valencia and Diane Fisher, Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council, will  co-teach a brand-new  Melton class on Social Justice: The Heart of Judaism in Theory and Practice. The course was produced under the guidance of Ruth Messinger, who led American Jewish World Service for many years. For those who are already active in social justice work, you will gain a deeper grounding in Jewish social justice learning , and for those who have strong Jewish foundations, you will add to your local connections to join in advocacy and justice work.  The ten session series begins on February 24th, and is stretched out due to holidays but this gives us a chance to pace the learning with civic engagement.  Please invite your friends— we have the opportunity to create a cohort of like-minded Jewish social justice partners. You can learn more and register for the class here.
