Services in the Main Sanctuary

Services at Beth David are lively and participatory. We love to sing, so services are filled with melody. Much of the service is in Hebrew, but we provide a thorough transliteration booklet keyed to the pages in the prayer book. Our goal is for everyone to feel at home and welcome in our services. Our Torah study during services is not a traditional sermon, but is interactive, with members engaged in discussion and learning with our Rabbis. Rabbis and members alike welcome your questions. Please stay after Shabbat morning and join us in Kiddush (the wine blessing), Motzi (the bread blessing) and a sit-down lunch. Guidelines for Attending Services

4th – 7th Grade

Youth Congregation
Our Youth Congregation is led by 4th through 7th graders. The service provides an interactive and informal Shabbat worship experience, which is also a great learning service for adults/parents. In addition to traditional prayer, the students participate in torah readings as well as games or discussions inspired both by the weekly torah portion and by contemporary attitudes and current events. We finish with Kiddush! View calendar
