Israeli Movie Night: “Shtisel”

Israeli Movie Night: “Shtisel”

Thursday, September 19
7:30 – 9:00 p.m.

We will be screening two episodes of the acclaimed Israeli TV show, “Shtisel,” a charming, with touches of humor, family saga about an ultra-Orthodox family in a Haredi neighborhood in Jerusalem. The realistic details in the episodes give us insights into contemporary Israeli life, while humanizing the Haredi characters. The show’s universal themes of family conflict, ethics, and romance make it appealing to a global audience. Refreshments and popcorn will be served. Reservations requested by September 15. Cost: $5/person. RSVP online (coming soon) or call the office at 408-257-3333.
