Zip Code Desserts

Join us for a fabulous night hosted by CBD members in various locations centered around Beth David. This is a FREE potluck dessert and appetizer event so everyone can participate. See all locations and dessert options. RSVP’s are due by January 22 so you can be contacted by your host before the event. Feel free to invite your friends, but include their information. LGBT Issues and Solutions
Friday, February 7,
7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Join guest speakers Kathy Levinson and Naomi Fine for a discussion about issues and solutions related to the LGBT community. Services will be at 6:00pm followed by dinner at 7:00pm (RSVP required). Our guest speakers will begin at 7:30pm. Dinner features Minestrone soup, salad, garlic bread, dessert. Cost is $10.00. Please RSVP online or by calling the office at 408-257-3333. Family Havdalah & Game Night

6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Come as a family for Havdalah and game night. Our program begins at 6pm, followed by havdalah, which we hope to do outside, weather-permitting, so please bring a jacket. Dinner will be Pizza & salad, followed by games. We appreciate your RSVP no later than Thursday, February 6th at 5pm, to ensure we have more than enough food for everyone online or call the office at 408-257-3333.

Arabs in Israeli Society
Tuesday February 11

7:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Matan Zamir, Israel’s Deputy Consul General to the Pacific North West, will briefly introduce the Consulate General of Israel to the Pacific Northwest in San Francisco. The main focus of Mr. Zamir’s presentation will be the Arab segment of the Israeli society, including demographic, cultural, religious, social, economic, and political aspects. He will cover the achievements and challenges facing Arabs in Israel, and will address efforts of both the Arab community and the Israeli government to overcome those challenges. Reservations are required by February 4, Ages 13-21 are free, but must be registered. Ages 22+ Cost: $5/person. RSVP online or call the office at 408-257-3333.
