Jewish Time Travel: An 1800s Saturday Night 
At History Park

Go back in time to San José in the 1800s and experience your Jewish heritage.The evening begins with Havdalah under San Jose’s first electric light tower and continues with a variety of fun and educational activities for adults and kids. Explore History Park and its many historic buildings including a school house, post office, doctor’s office, bank, print shop, blacksmith and fruit barn. More information

TGI Shabbat - SIGD Ethiopian Shabbat
Welcome the day of rest and kick back because it's TGI Shabbat, a potluck dinner for the whole congregation to enjoy. Join in with our tradition of observing the Ethiopian Jewish holiday of SIGD. Participate in a special Kabbalat Shabbat service to welcome the day of rest that includes a procession with colorful umbrellas. PJ Shabbat
The program is geared for children 6 and under. Older siblings welcome.  What could be more fun for your children than coming to Shabbat Services in their PJs,? Wouldn’t it be fun for them to make their very own set of candlesticks before beginning a special Shabbat service filled with movement, song and stories? What if all of you could have dinner afterwards with yummy chocolate chip challah and kid ( and parent)  friendly food, along with lots of people to hang out with play and socialize in a welcoming atmosphere? Seniors' Afternoon Coffee and Dessert

A women’s evening of creativity, spirituality, food and thank yous!

Come share an evening of fun and creativity with CBD women at Glow Lounge in Willow Glen;

Beth David Cycling or Hiking, Lunch in the Sukkah
Want to enjoy nature, exhilarating exercise and wonderful company in 5776? Join us for a bike or hike followed by lunch in the CBD Sukkah. All will meet at CBD. Hikers will carpool together to the hiking locations, while bikers will roll down the road!  Everyone will meet back at Beth David for a healthy, refreshing lunch and beverages in the Sukkah.  Cost for the lunch is $12.
