PJ Shabbat

What could be more fun for your children than coming to Shabbat Services in their PJs? Join us for a special Shabbat service filled with movement, song and stories. Women’s Shabbat

Join our Shabbat Services as the ladies take the Bima for an inspiring Shabbat service.  We are excited to have inspirational guest Suzanne Felsen of “The Jewish Skinny” speaking during the service.  We will also be giving some special thank yous to Myrtle, ‘the twins’, and Barbara Knaster for their over the top time over the past years.  Delicious lunch to follow! Young Adults – A Night In Italy
Saturday, January 21st, 8:00 – Midnight
Calling all Young Adults (22-35). A flight of rich Italian wines (provided and poured by Marc & Paula Levitt of Girasola Imports), paired with authentic Italian nibbles, movie and music will make for a memorable Jewish Italian night!  The location is in West San Jose and will be sent out to the first 25 people to RSVP. suggested donation of $10. Simha and B’nei Mitzvah Fair
Sunday, January 22nd, 12:30 – 4:00 p.m.
Everything about becoming Bar/Bat Mitzvah at CBD! Visit with vendors, learn about our B’nei Mitzvah process, get your child’s date (ages 10-12) – lunch provided. No charge but RSVP is required online or call the office at 408-257-3333.

Scholar-in-Residence Shabbat Dinner
Friday, January 27th, 7:00  – 8:30 p.m.
Join us for a special Shabbat dinner featuring chicken, rice, cooked vegetables, salad, fruit and dessert. Super Bowl at CBD Hosted by the Men’s Club
Sunday, February 5th, 2:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Succulent Sh’vat

Tu B’Shevat Program

Mah Jongg Tournament

After Trialogue Meal Cook & Serve with AAI

We will again meet with West Valley Muslim Association and Saratoga Federated Church, to continue our dialogue together while we prepare a meal for one of the area shelters.  Option to continue and serve & partake of the meal at the shelter afterwards. RSVP online or call the office 408-257-3333.

Community-Wide Purim Dinner

Shushan County Fair
Sunday, March 12th, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Enjoy many of the experiences you have come to associate with a county fair including petting zoo, games, food, entertainment, rides and inflatables (including a 20’ slide), White Elephant and Book Sale, Exhibit Hall, contests and prizes. Featuring the Klezmer band “Hot Kugel” Buy a wristband for access to all inflatables and games plus a $5 voucher for food!
