Join together to celebrate Tu B’Av, the Jewish/Israeli holiday of love! Drink some champagne and eat some sweets, do some sweet learning about love in the Jewish tradition and watch a film about love called Loving Leah. Come with your sweetheart or on your own. PJ Shabbat – Tu B’Av Celebration
Friday, August 19th at 6:00 p.m.
Join together for a special PJ Shabbat in honor of Tu B’AV. Children will make an “I love you” card and gift for their parent/guardian. Special Tu B’Av treats will be served along with dinner. The program is geared for children 6 and under. Older siblings welcome. Service and crafts are free. Dinner for adults $10, children aged 3-12 $2, under 3 free. Dames who Dine

Upsherin (the cutting of hair) of Kobi Ohriner
Sunday, September 11th 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
The entire community is invited to join Rabbis Philip and Shoshana Ohriner as they celebrate the upsherin (the cutting of hair) of their little boy, Kobi, who will also receive his first Kippah and Tzitziot. Join us for our traditional ice cream Selichot Social!! Stay to learn and explore many avenues of expressing forgiveness through creative outlets.
