Volunteer Needs at Jewish Family Services – help others in our community
During this time of the year, enrich your life and the life of others.  As the Torah instructs, you can welcome the stranger or support the frail and isolated.

Refugee Mentors support refugees by driving them to appointments, filling out applications and helping with their acculturation.  Consider being a part of a refugee Welcome Group.
Refugee Hosts temporarily host a new arrival or new arrivals in their home.
Friendly Visitors are matched with isolated seniors for regular visits and form lasting friendships.
Volunteers must be amenable to JFS’ screening process. Training provided.
